Professor Herbert Cheng has passed away

This is a great loss to the entire Tribology community.
It is with great sadness that we must share the news that Professor Herbert Cheng has passed away.
He will be remembered for his important contribution to the field of Tribology and his excellent work in elastohydrodynamic and mixed-film lubrication, for which he also received the IMECHE Tribology Gold Medal in 1992.
